Blackberry

Question: My blackberry bold's screen turns white randomly?

I have a blackberry bold, and i can be on the phone during a call or it can be in my pocket and when i go to look at it the screen is completely white and when i remove the battery and place it back in, the phone turns on and works fine..but it happened a few times .. what does this mean? is there a way to fix it? :/

I dont know if you can fix that but i have a Blackberry Curve and the same thing happens. I think its just the blackberry software.
